Step 3.8: Succes

When the program is done applying changes you will see the following screen. You can exit this screen by clicking “OK”. This is the confirmation that everything went well. Your new SD Card is now ready for use!

Enjoy!

Step 3.7: Updating Partition

Next the program will be busy for a short while, depending on the size of the SD Card, applying the changes.

Step 3.6: Are you Sure

Next the program will ask if you are sure you want to apply these changes. You can confirm by clicking “Yes”.

Step 3.5: Apply Changes

By pressing button “Apply”, the changed settings will be applied.

Step 3.4: Check Settings

In the next screen your will see that drive letter “J:” now is 7.4Gb instead of 512mb of the original SD Card. At this point nothing is changed YET. See next step 3.5.

Step 3.3: Set Size

Next you can select the new size by moving the slider. With smartphones it’s better to use the entire SD Card so the slider can be put to maximum. Below you can see the size of 488.39mb will be adjusted to 7.40Gb. That’s our goal. You can proceed by clicking “OK”.

Step 3.2: Extend Partition

Next you can extend the partition by hovering above it and select “extend” with your right mouse button.

Step 3.1: Adjust size

During copying (cloning) of the SD Card, also the size is copied. In our example the original size was 512mb. In our example the size of the new SD Card is 8Gb. Next you have to extend the “partition” of 512mb to 8GB. You can now start the program MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition. You will see a drive letter (in the example “J:”) as 512mb and next to it 6.9GB “Unallocated”. That is how we recorgnize our new cloned SD Card.

Step 2.7: Finalize Step 2

After a short time (depending on the size of the SD Card) HDDRawCopyTool will be done copying to the new SD Card. You will notice this by the green progress bar and the comment “100% complete”. The clone is now ready and you can exit HDDRawCopyTool by pressing the red X.

Step 2.6: Caution!

Caution! All data on the new SD Card will be erased. Clonemysdcard.com is not responsible in any way for any loss of data.
If you are sure the new (empty) SD Card is in the cardreader you can proceed by clicking “Yes”.
